Somerset Hills YMCA
In partnership with St. Bernard’s Church in Bernardsville, the Somerset Hills YMCA coordinates volunteer support for 1st-8th grade students across various subject areas. Tutoring and homework help are provided in either a one-on-one or small group setting. For the best experience and continuity for the students, we encourage volunteers to arrive just before 3:00 PM and to commit to several consecutive weeks. Thank you for helping us make a difference!
"To provide consistent, personalized tutoring and homework assistance to 1st-8th grade students in Bernardsville through a partnership between Somerset Hills YMCA and St. Bernard’s Church, fostering academic improvement, confidence, and a love of learning. We aim to ensure that each student receives the support they need to achieve measurable academic progress over the course of the program, with a focus on continuity and relationship-building through committed volunteers."
