Food Security Project - Plainfield YMCA

Plainfield YMCA

The Plainfield YMCA partners with Star Fish Pantry to help local families access fresh, nutritious food. Volunteers support the weekly food distribution by helping prepare and distribute grocery and produce boxes to families in need. Volunteers may assist with setting up the distribution area and handing out food to families. Each family receives a grocery bag filled with food, including fresh produce and a dozen eggs to provide an important source of protein. This is a meaningful opportunity to support food security in our community and help ensure that local families have access to nutritious food.
