Princeton YMCA
The Princeton YMCA is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to support its youth aquatics programs as Swim Lesson Class Assistants. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children and are passionate about water safety, skill development, and youth engagement. Swim Lesson Class Assistants help create a positive and encouraging learning environment where participants can build confidence in the water, develop essential swimming skills, and work toward personal goals. Through this role, volunteers contribute to a safe, supportive, and fun experience that promotes lifelong water safety and healthy activity. Volunteers are asked to commit to an 8-week session for lesson consistency both for instructors and swimmers. Note: all registrants must complete the attached project application to gauge swim ability as this role will be in the pool with the class participants. Once approved by the Aquatics Director, volunteers may register for the day(s) that work best for their schedule.
