Dance Assistant Volunteers support instructors and coaches during dance classes, rehearsals, performances, special events, etc. Responsibilities include helping with studio setup and cleanup, assisting dancers with counts, formations, and choreography when directed, and promoting a positive, respectful, and inclusive learning environment. Volunteers serve as role models, follow staff instructions, and help ensure classes and events run smoothly. Session Commitment: Volunteers are asked to commit to the full program session for their selected day and time. Consistent volunteer participation helps create familiarity and a sense of comfort for dance programming participants while also providing instructors with a reliable and familiar volunteer partner each week. Occasional absences are understandable, but volunteers should plan to participate regularly throughout the session.
Support dance instructors and students by serving as a positive, reliable assistant during classes, rehearsals, and performances. Volunteers will help reinforce choreography, formations, counts, and basic dance technique while following the direction of instructors and studio staff.

These volunteer opportunities are designed as multi-week commitments. We understand that vacations and other plans may arise, so please let us know about any anticipated absences in advance. Consistent attendance is appreciated, but we will work with volunteers on pre-planned scheduling conflicts.
