Somerset Hills YMCA
Dance Assistant Volunteers support instructors and coaches during dance classes, rehearsals, performances, and dance team activities. Responsibilities include helping with studio setup and cleanup, assisting dancers with counts, formations, and choreography when directed, and promoting a positive, respectful learning environment. Volunteers serve as role models, follow staff instructions, and help ensure classes and team events run smoothly.
Support dance instructors and students by serving as a positive, reliable assistant during classes, rehearsals, and performances. Volunteers will help reinforce choreography, formations, counts, and basic dance technique while following the direction of instructors and studio staff.
