Adaptive Programs Assistant Volunteers support instructors and program staff during Adaptive classes, programs, activities, etc. Responsibilities include assisting with program setup and cleanup, supporting participants of all abilities with activities and instruction as directed, and helping create a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment. Volunteers serve as role models, follow staff guidance, and help ensure programs and events run safely and smoothly.
Support Adaptive program instructors and participants by serving as a positive, reliable assistant during classes, activities, and special events. Volunteers will help participants engage in activities, follow instructions, and build confidence and independence while following the direction of instructors and program staff. Volunteers will promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for participants of all abilities.

These volunteer opportunities are designed as multi-week commitments. We understand that vacations and other plans may arise, so please let us know about any anticipated absences in advance. Consistent attendance is appreciated, but we will work with volunteers on pre-planned scheduling conflicts.
